St. Antonius Church
The church is situated in Basel, Switzerland. It is designed in 1925-1927 a time that Karl Moser’s design radically evolved to follow the modernism movement, especially regarding the outside of the church. The use of reinforced concrete in building of the church allowed large stained windows and large floorspace. The interior of the church seems very much like a piece of brutalism with its visible structure and untreated concrete, rather then modernistic architecture even though it was built before the time of brutalism.
